One of South Africa’s top stand-up stars, Ndumiso Lindi will be in the comedy spotlight at the Carnival City Comedy Session inside the Mardi Gras Theatre every Wednesday between 12 June and 17 July.
From the moment he walks onto the stage and begins to speak, Ndumiso aims to engage with his audience through a warm personality and intelligent delivery. He has promised to have his Carnival City audience “laughing from the belly’ from beginning to end.
Ndumiso is well-known for his trademark hat, and stylish urban look, his honest observations of everyday South African life and for his alter ego Roosta.
Ndumiso Lindi has headlined at Blacks Only, Heavyweights Comedy Jam and the Nando’s Comedy Festival, and has hosted the Vodacom Comedy Campus Tour and the Vodacom Funny Festival.
The versatile comedian has transported his local brand of comedy to other African countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Uganda.
And for those of you in relationships, Ndumiso Lindi has a piece of advice. He believes all Facebook relationship updates should be labelled ‘its complicated’, and if yours isn’t, then you must be doing something wrong!
